The League Cup competition is designed to help fill out a season where divisions are short of competitive matches.
The competition will only be held during seasons where there is a shortfall of fixtures and not necessarily annually.

2024-25
The format for this season's League Cup will be an open league format with teams playing random mathces against opponents in the competition in a league format, with one group made up from all the teams in the Second and Third Divisions.
A 4 match fixture list has been prepared first with no team names but just numbers. Each team will then be drawn a number and occupy that place in the fixture schedule. Teams will play 4 x 15 frame league matches against various opponents where all the frames should be played. Each frame won scores 1 point just as in regular winter league matches. A league table will be formed with every result recorded. The top two teams after 4 matches will progress through to the League Cup Final.

Matches are treated identical to regular league matches.
Result sheets should be completed and submitted in the usual manner.

This season there is a small amount of prize money (£30) for the League Cup, plus the honour of getting your name on the trophy.
Usual tie breakers will be in place for any team that finishes level first, plus an additional tie breaker. The team that has played 4 matches against higher final placed teams than their adversary will finish above them in the final league table. In the 2024-25 season the dates for the final will be announced at the end of the season. Some teams involved may be competing in other cup competitions so to ease fixture congestion the end of season finals will be arranged once the competing teams are known.
