The South London & Kent Pool Alliance (or SLKPA) is an English 8 ball pool league for teams in the SE London and NW Kent area containing 5 or more members. The league was formed in 2005 and is contested on Thursday evenings and matches consist of 15 frames of "International Rules" pool, commencing at 8pm. Our league caters for pool players of all standards/creeds/ages/sexes and has multiple divisions. Support is supplied for players who are new to "International Rules" to help you get a basic understanding and commence playing. The SLKPA is affiliated to Greater London County Pool Association, which is under the umbrella of the English Pool Association. We have singles and pairs competitions regularly, Interleague teams, as well as a host of other events to help you enjoy your pool, and all these are available to our registered players. The process of managing a team in the SLKPA is simplified, where all administration can be attended to remotely, negating the need to attend endless league meetings. Should you wish to meet us, the League Committee convene usually on the first Sunday of each month 7pm at Bellegrove Social Club, Welling, Kent. DA16 3QD. The League welcomes new teams and players who wish to join. Our aim is to remain as the number one pool league in this area, and our motto is "a pool league for pool players first and foremost."
